Poached pears

Poached pears with cinnamon, marinated Sweet Balsamic Walnuts with vanilla bean icecream. Serves 4.

4 pears
2 cinnamon sticks
1 tbsp sugar
4 cups water
3 tbsp SBR
100 gm walnuts
Ice-cream

Peel & halve pears, marinate Walnuts in SBR in a bowl. Boil water with sugar cinnamon  & pears.Take pears out once tender, not too soft. Serve in a bowl with a little syrup from pot  then add walnuts &  ice-cream. More SBR can be drizzled if desired.
